The Men's EHF EURO 2026 is the biggest handball championship in Europe, bringing together the best national teams from across the continent. This event offers exciting matches that showcase the highest level of handball skills and sportsmanship. Experience pure greatness as the teams compete for the title of European Champions from January 15th to February 1st, 2026. Unity Arena will host preliminary group matches, January 15th to 20th.
Host cities and venues
The Men's EHF EURO 2026 will be held in Sweden, Denmark and Norway, with cities offering unique experiences for fans and players alike. The host cities will be Malmö, Kristianstad, Herning and Oslo. Denmark, as the main host, will host the preliminary matches in groups A and B, one main round and the final weekend. All matches will take place at Jyske Bank Boxen in Herning. Sweden will host two preliminary rounds (Group E: Malmö Arena and Group F: Kristianstad Arena) and one main round (Malmö Arena). Norway will host the preliminary group matches in Groups C and D in Oslo between January 15th and 20th.
Norway will play their preliminary matches in Group C in Unity Arena; January 15th, 17th and 19th. Teams that are in Group D will play their matches in Unity Arena; January 16th, 18th and 20th.
