Landstreff Stavanger and Høvik Hørsel are hosting the finals of the official “Home Craftsman of the Year” competition at Unity Arena on Saturday, March 13, 2027🔥

In 2027, “Homebrew of the Year” will once again be bigger than ever as we take over Unity Arena for the second year in a row! The finals have previously been held at Chateau Neuf, Røverstaden, Rockefeller, and Oslo Spektrum💫

The official Hjemmesnekk competition will be held for the 14th consecutive year, and we can’t wait to see this year’s entries! Registration closes on February 10, 2027—stay tuned to our social media channels for info on artist announcements and everything you need to know about this year’s event🙌

The 10 songs with the most votes advance directly to the finals. In addition, wild cards will be awarded to entries that advance to the finals regardless of the number of votes, and there will be performances by some of Norway’s hottest artists.

The finalists will perform their song at Unity Arena to earn points in the competition to win the official title of “Home-Made Artist of the Year 2027.” Of course, the finalists will receive backstage access, free admission, and a true VIP artist experience!

Transportation

We strongly recommend everyone to use public transportation to Unity Arena, which is only a 15-20 minute walk from Lysaker station, a hub for buses, trains and airport trains. Several bus routes take you efficiently and quickly to the arena and back again. For specific routes and timetables from your stop, visit www.ruter.no.

We recommend that you do not drive to Unity Arena as there may be traffic jams to get in and out of Fornebu.

If you still need to drive, there are parking spaces opposite Unity Arena, as well as in the parking garage at Fornebuporten and IT Fornebu. Follow the signs "P-mot betaling". Here there are parking tickets available that are valid throughout your visit.

Hotels

In the area around the Unity Arena, there are three large hotels that offer a good and high standard of accommodation at reasonable prices.

Scandic Fornebu - 1.5 km from the arena with 344 rooms
Radisson Blu Park Hotel - only 300 meters from the arena with 251 rooms.
Quality Hotel Expo - just across the road from the arena with 301 rooms.
