Global concert giant enters Norway and announces its first arena show:

Dropkick Murphys is coming to Norway and Unity Arena!

American punk rock group Dropkick Murphys will perform at Unity Arena in Oslo on October 20th. The event is promoted by AEG Presents, which has recently established itself in Norway.

Established in the 1990s, Dropkick Murphys are known for their combination of American punk and Irish musical traditions. Over the years, the band has released several albums and achieved international recognition with songs such as "I'm Shipping Up to Boston" and "The State of Massachusetts". Their music is characterized by a mix of traditional instruments and modern rock elements, as well as lyrics with community engagement.

AEG Presents is a global player in live entertainment and has now established itself in Norway. The Dropkick Murphys concert marks the start of a series of upcoming events in the Norwegian market. Head of AEG Presents Norway is Peer Osmundsvaag, a veteran among Norwegian concert promotors, who has previously won the City of Oslo's Culture Prize and been behind several record-breaking events in the capital.

Transportation

We strongly recommend everyone to use public transportation to Unity Arena, which is only a 15-20 minute walk from Lysaker station, a hub for buses, trains and airport trains. Several bus routes take you efficiently and quickly to the arena and back again. For specific routes and timetables from your stop, visit www.ruter.no.

We recommend that you do not drive to Unity Arena as there may be traffic jams to get in and out of Fornebu.

If you still need to drive, there are parking spaces opposite Unity Arena, as well as in the parking garage at Fornebuporten and IT Fornebu. Follow the signs "P-mot betaling". Here there are parking tickets available that are valid throughout your visit.

In the area around the Unity Arena, there are three large hotels that offer a good and high standard of accommodation at reasonable prices.

Scandic Fornebu - 1.5 km from the arena with 344 rooms
Radisson Blu Park Hotel - only 300 meters from the arena with 251 rooms.
Quality Hotel Expo - just across the road from the arena with 301 rooms.
