The new single “Free To Love” reunites Duran Duran with longtime collaborator Nile Rodgers. The result is an energetic and danceable track that combines the band’s signature sound with modern pop and disco elements. The single has received a positive reception internationally: NME describes the song as“a funk-inflected call to arms, while CLASH calls it“a shimmering piece of disco-fied synth-pop.” The Sun has called it“a perfect summer song,” and Classic Pop Magazine describes it as“a euphoric groove.” Several remixes of “Free To Love” will also be released throughout the summer. The series kicked off in May with new versions from Horse Meat Disco and DJ White Shadow.

2026 is already shaping up to be a busy year for Duran Duran, who have performed several nights as part of their residency at the Fontainebleau in Las Vegas and headlined the BeachLife Festival in California. Duran Duran is considered one of the most influential bands in modern pop music. With over 100 million albums sold, the Birmingham-based group has left its mark on several generations through songs like “Rio,” “Hungry Like the Wolf,” “Girls on Film,” and “Ordinary World.”

The band consists of Simon Le Bon, Nick Rhodes, John Taylor, and Roger Taylor. For more than four decades, they have played a central role in the development of synth-pop and alternative pop, and are known for their powerful live performances. In 2022, Duran Duran was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. They continue to draw large crowds worldwide and have enjoyed both sold-out tours and critically acclaimed releases in recent years. Their sixteenth studio album, “Danse Macabre” from 2023, became their tenth top-five album in the UK.

During the “Future Past Tour,” the band played to sold-out arenas in the UK and North America, and in 2025 they headlined a major Halloween concert at Co-op Live in Manchester. That same year, they received the “Città di Sanremo” award at the Sanremo Music Festival in Italy, 40 years after their first appearance there. In 2026, Duran Duran will also release new vinyl editions of “The Wedding Album” and “Thank You.” We’re really looking forward to them finally returning to Norway!
