Kings of Leon
Multi Grammy and BRIT Award winning band Kings of Leon return to Norway for the first time in 12 years!
Kings of Leon will play their only concert in Scandinavia in 2025, at Unity Arena on Wednesday, August 27th.
Kings of Leon is considered one of the biggest alternative rock bands of the last 20 years. The American rock band has an impressive touring history that includes headlining appearances at the world's most prestigious festivals, such as Coachella, Glastonbury, Roskilde, Reading & Leeds and several Lollapalooza festivals in São Paulo, Chicago and Santiago, to name a few. Just last summer, the band broke their own attendance record by playing five consecutive nights in London's iconic Hyde Park.
The concert at Unity Arena will be the band's first concert in Norway since the 2013 Hove Festival, and their first concert in Oslo in 22 years, when they played to a sold-out John Dee with a capacity of 500.
Since their debut album in 2003, Kings of Leon - consisting of Caleb (guitar/vocals), Nathan (drums), Jared (bass) and Matthew Followill (guitar) - have released nine albums: Youth & Young Manhood (2003), Aha Shake Heartbreak (2004), Because of the Times (2007), Only by the Night (2008), Come Around Sundown (2010), Mechanical Bull (2013), WALLS (2016), When You See Yourself (2021), and the latest Can We Please Have Fun (2024). The band has sold over 20 million albums and 40 million singles worldwide. In addition, they have received eight Grammy nominations, won three Grammy Awards, three NME Awards, two BRIT Awards and one Juno Award.
