GRAMMY winners NE-YO and AKON announced today that they are embarking on their "Nights Like This" world tour, which will come to Norway on Friday, May 22 at Unity Arena!

The tour brings together two generation-defining artists with catalogs that have shaped radio, nightlife, and pop culture. NE-YO and AKON share the stage in a unique and dynamic collaboration throughout the concert, filled with hits, sing-along favorites, and timeless club classics.

We get to hear NE-YO's "So Sick," "Closer," and "Miss Independent," along with AKON's "Smack That," "Lonely," and "Right Now (Na Na Na)." The Nights Like This Tour is a nostalgic experience for loyal fans and the perfect introduction for new listeners. From mellow R&B songs to big club anthems, every night is set to feel like a real throwback party and celebration.

NE-YO is a three-time GRAMMY Award-winning artist, songwriter, and entertainer who has been shaping popular music for nearly two decades with his distinctive vocals and powerful storytelling. He broke through with "So Sick" in 2005 and has since delivered a string of major hits such as "Miss Independent," "Closer," "Because of You," and "Give Me Everything." As a solo artist, he has won three GRAMMY Awards, had two number one hits on the Billboard 200, and accumulated over 23 billion streams.

In February 2026, NE-YO will celebrate the 20th anniversary of his debut album, "In My Own Words." He is also a highly sought-after songwriter, with hits for Rihanna, Beyoncé, Usher, Celine Dion, and others. In addition, he has made his mark in film and TV, and has been honored with his own day in Las Vegas. NE-YO is now exploring new musical directions and preparing to release a country-inspired album.

AKON is an award-winning Senegalese-American artist, producer, and entrepreneur, known for dominating the Billboard charts with a genre-spanning sound in R&B/hip hop, EDM, and pop. He founded the record labels Konlive, Konvict Kulture, and KONVICT Music, which have launched artists such as T-Pain and Lady Gaga.

Throughout his career, he has sold over 35 million albums, received five Grammy nominations, and had 45 songs on the Billboard Hot 100. He is also known for his philanthropic work in Africa and the United States, as well as for launching the cryptocurrency Akoin in 2018, which aims to contribute to economic development in African communities.

Transportation

We strongly recommend everyone to use public transportation to Unity Arena, which is only a 15-20 minute walk from Lysaker station, a hub for buses, trains and airport trains. Several bus routes take you efficiently and quickly to the arena and back again. For specific routes and timetables from your stop, visit www.ruter.no.

We recommend that you do not drive to Unity Arena as there may be traffic jams to get in and out of Fornebu.

If you still need to drive, there are parking spaces opposite Unity Arena, as well as in the parking garage at Fornebuporten and IT Fornebu. Follow the signs "P-mot betaling". Here there are parking tickets available that are valid throughout your visit.

In the area around the Unity Arena, there are three large hotels that offer a good and high standard of accommodation at reasonable prices.

Scandic Fornebu - 1.5 km from the arena with 344 rooms
Radisson Blu Park Hotel - only 300 meters from the arena with 251 rooms.
