GRAMMY®-nominated artist SOMBR is coming to Norway for an exclusive arena concert. This will be his biggest Norwegian show to date and is part of the global YOU ARE THE REASON ARENA TOUR. On Saturday, May 8, SOMBR’s European tour kicks off at Unity Arena with his band and the live format that has made him one of pop music’s most sought-after new artists.

Tickets for the YOU ARE THE REASON TOUR will first be available through the artist presale, which begins on Wednesday, September 2, at 10:00 a.m. local time, followed by relevant local presales. With songs like “Back to Friends,” “Undressed,” and “12 to 12,” SOMBR has built a large international following. In Oslo, fans will experience an artist who combines intimate, personal songwriting with an energetic and spectacular live show. SOMBR, born Shane Boose, has quickly gone from making music in a bedroom in New York to playing sold-out concerts around the world. His genre-bending sound moves between indie rock, alternative pop, and big pop melodies.

SOMBR is the stage name of New York-based Shane Boose. With his breakthrough single “Back to Friends,” he achieved international success and quickly made his mark on global streaming and radio charts. His debut album “I Barely KnowHer” cemented his position as one of the most talked-about new voices in pop music. SOMBR writes and co-produces his own music and is known for a style that combines vulnerable, raw songwriting with big melodies and an intense live performance.

A few weeks ago, he headlined the Øya Festival, and we're really excited to welcome him back to Oslo next year!

Transportation

We strongly recommend everyone to use public transportation to Unity Arena, which is only a 15-20 minute walk from Lysaker station, a hub for buses, trains and airport trains. Several bus routes take you efficiently and quickly to the arena and back again. For specific routes and timetables from your stop, visit www.ruter.no.

We recommend that you do not drive to Unity Arena as there may be traffic jams to get in and out of Fornebu.

If you still need to drive, there are parking spaces opposite Unity Arena, as well as in the parking garage at Fornebuporten and IT Fornebu. Follow the signs "P-mot betaling". Here there are parking tickets available that are valid throughout your visit.

Hotels

In the area around the Unity Arena, there are three large hotels that offer a good and high standard of accommodation at reasonable prices.

Scandic Fornebu - 1.5 km from the arena with 344 rooms
Radisson Blu Park Hotel - only 300 meters from the arena with 251 rooms.
Quality Hotel Expo - just across the road from the arena with 301 rooms.
