The Neighborhood

The Neighbourhood comes to Norway for the first time

The Neighbourhood – one of the world's most streamed alternative bands, with 45 million monthly listeners – is finally coming to Norway for the first time.

The California band, known for their mega-hit "Sweater Weather" (4 billion streams), will finally visit Oslo and Unity Arena as part of their extensive THE WORLD TOUR on August 25, 2026.

In recent years, The Neighbourhood has cemented its position as one of the most influential names in modern alternative rock. Despite more than a decade on the international scene, billions of streams, and sold-out arenas around the world, the band has never before played a concert in Norway. Now Oslo is on the tour schedule—along with iconic venues such as Madison Square Garden in New York, The O2 in London, and Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

They have recently been featured on Spotify's Top 100 Global Artist list and reach a massive audience across continents. Their breakthrough song and mega-hit "Sweater Weather" has remained one of the biggest alternative hits of the 2010s, and their catalog has accumulated billions of streams globally.

"The Neighbourhood has created songs that have influenced an entire generation and filled arenas around the world. The fact that they are finally playing their first concert in Norway is both long-awaited and huge. We are really looking forward to experiencing this with the fans," says Peer Osmundsvaag from AEG Presents.

The band is currently promoting the deluxe edition of their latest album, (((((ultraSOUND)))))+, which contains five new songs and builds on an album that has already surpassed 150 million streams. With this project, they return to their characteristic dark and melodic West Coast sound—a signature that has made them a generation-defining force in alternative rock.

The concert at Unity Arena marks both the band's Norwegian debut and their biggest venture in Scandinavia to date.
